Prostate Cancer Research
ZERO funds local grants to end prostate cancer. Through its Great Prostate Cancer Challenge/Dash for Dad National Race Series, ZERO donates thousands of dollars to local communities to help:
- Provide medical scholarships to attract new and talented doctors into the fields of urology, oncology and prostate cancer research
- Spread awareness and education about the disease encouraging those at risk especially African Americans to take an active role in maintaining a healthy lifestyle
- Provide free testing at local community medical centers to catch prostate cancer early and give men a fighting chance against the disease
In 2010, ZERO expects to provide more than $200,000 in grants to local communities.
