National Underwear Day to Raise Funds and Awareness for Prostate Cancer
National Prostate Cancer Coalition Teams up with Freshpair.com
WASHINGTON, DC - Prostate cancer doesn’t care if you wear boxers or briefs.
That’s why freshpair.com and the National Prostate Cancer Coalition (NPCC) have teamed up to fight prostate cancer during the Fourth Annual National Underwear Day on August 9 encouraging men to get tested for the disease.
“We’re grateful to freshpair.com for recognizing the importance of learning about prostate cancer risk and early detection,” NPCC CEO Richard N. Atkins, M.D. said. “When checking out the new underwear styles this summer, make sure to drop those drawers and get your prostate checked too.”
Freshpair.com plans to donate at least $5,000 to the cause through underwear sales. Models aim to bear their fresh pairs in the streets of New York this Underwear Day showcasing the new and hottest styles in underwear fashion.
